Firearm Malfunctions
Looting firearms from the enemy may result in getting somewhat faulty firearms. Here are some faults that you might encounter. For repair rules and severity, see Wear and Repair#Equipment Properties.
Jammer
After firing this weapon, it jams and won’t fire again until you take a utilize action to unjam the weapon.
Finicky
Reloading this weapon always requires a utilize action.
Combustible
If this weapon misfires, it explodes. The wielder takes damage equal to the weapon’s damage dice and the firearm is destroyed.
Busted
When this weapon misfires, the misfire score increases by one.
Warped
Attacks made with this firearm have disadvantage.
Scrap
When this weapon misfires, roll 1d6 for a random malfunction from this list. You apply the malfunction to the firearm permanently. If the result is a malfunction already on the weapon, it’s destroyed.
