The Most Glorious Republic of the Great Grandges is an oligarchic merchant republic governing the Great Grandges within The Cresfaller Isles.
Political power is distributed across three main pillars of the populace: The Gilda, the Capitani, and the Signoria. While there is nominal separation between the three pillars, there is typically a large amount of overlap in membership as members of the Signoria are hold multiple titles within the Gilda and the Capitani. Allegiances vary depending upon the individual, however house identity is typically considered to be one of the strongest ties one can hold.
