Deities are a strange thing within this realm. Faith itself holds the power to create the divine such that, should a critical mass of followers or faith be reached, a being will be formed or elevated to meet that belief. Though most divine beings within the world now are "created", "artificial", or otherwise "new", there are a small number of native divine beings that are responsible for the creation of the planes of reality and their inhabitants. Despite the reality of their creation being known to the lesser divine beings, this is not a fact that is widely spread amongst the mortal races.
Divinities are classified in two ways. One is if they are commonly known across the land or knowledge of them is hidden. The other is whether they are currently living or dead.

Description: Io, sometimes called the Allfather, is the ultimate divinity within realm. He is the creator of the children divinities and also mankind. He introduced mortality into the world and, in doing so, set in motion the events of all history. In time before time, the child-gods rebelled against Io and slew him. His essence, spread across creation, is what gave rise to the arcane weave.

The divinities listed below are classified as "lesser" but that is a misnomer. These are the beings elevated, or created, by the belief of mortals. Their power ranges from the dominion of smallholdings within nature to the ability to recreate life and light at a cosmic scale. Their powers are directly tied to, and come from, the belief of their worshipers and thus have an ever changing relationship with themselves and their domains.

As the Astral is to the Mundane, so to does the Astral have a shadow. It is said that those who find their way to the inbetween at the edges of the planes will come upon a great hall of stone arches. Each arch represents the power of the divine and leads to the realm of each god respectively.
Though the hall is filled with arches innumerable, it is dominated by the ruins of one, single arch large enough to fit the world within. Around the rubble, five others stand, pristine made of pure white stone. Within the floor, around and encompassing the keystone of the greatest arch is a black arch, scrawled with malice.
All other arches stand silent in their watch. Some crumble to ruin while others gain strength with each passing moment.
